Today, one of our very own editors, Hilary Pollack, made an appearance to discuss the latest from our gardening column, Dirty Work, and the unique way to step up your cocktail game from the comfort of your own home.

So we recently invited Mission Chinese beverage director Sam Anderson to our bountiful rooftop garden and encouraged him to make some wacky concoctions.

At first, Anderson was planning on creating his own take on old-fashioned bitters with a hit of Szechuan peppercorns, but he changed his mind as soon as saw he the massive variety of botanicals growing all over our rooftop garden.

The results: Terrarium Bitters packed with floral notes from citrus, MUNCHIES lemongrass, pineapple sage, nasturtiums, and a sprinkling of peppercorns to give it a little buzz.
