Of all the jolly bearded taco mongers in LA, Wes Avila is the jolliest and the beardiest. His stand, Guerilla Tacos, is parked at Handsome Coffee downtown and also shows up at private parties where Wes churns out delicious and massive concoctions packed with sweetbreads, fried eggs, steak, avocado, and whatever else he feels like making that day. We introduced Wes to our buds in the band Roses and of course they talked about tacos while eating tacos for a while. We also drank beers and watched Roses play a show.
