It should come as no surprise that robot mixology is the next natural step in our move toward abandoning human services in favor of those offered by gears, steel, and motherboards. That's where Chef Watson comes into play.

Devised by researchers at IBM, Chef Watson is essentially a friendly algorithm that uses culinary knowledge mixed with algorithmic software to think of flavor combinations and recipes that might not be so obvious to us culturally biased Homo sapiens. For example, a burrito with chocolate, ground beef, edamame, apricot puree, and Edam can be surprisingly palatable. Or perhaps a sandwich made with turkey, fennel, sour cream, and bacon grease.

Anyways, that brings us to this Ivorian Bourbon Punch—a surprisingly easy-to-concoct drink for two that combines whiskey, triple sec, banana, citrus, vanilla, honey, and turmeric into a tangy, boozy, and slightly sweet treat of a cocktail.

Don't worry—some humans were involved too, and they affirm that it's delicious. Robots may be taking over, but at least they're here to help us get drunk and eat burritos.
