This was a pretty bizarre sequence from the final minutes of the first half between Miami and Louisville. While fighting for an offensive rebound, Montrezl Harrell eventually came up with the ball and fired an absolute laser right into Tonye Jekiri's face. It's really strange because Harrell was clearly in bounds and not in danger of going out of bounds. And yet…damn. He just drilled Jekiri, who obviously wasn't expecting it, right in the head.Doris Burke suggested maybe he thought he was close to stepping out of bounds. And if that is the case, then it follows he would try to throw it off Jekiri since if he was close to being out, then Jekiri would certainly be out of bounds then. Still…right in the mush. Harrell was given a flagrant 1 technical foul for basically unsportsmanlike conduct for the play. Rick Pitino was not happy about the call, nor were Louisville fans, many of whom ESPN mics caught dropping expletives in response. Harrell was miffed, but it didn't seem to bother him on the very next play.
