Gorgeously-drawn goblins, golems, and goliaths that look straight out of Dio album cover art are here to sweep out the elves and make 2016 metal again. With just days left in the year, we're highlighting the epic fantasy drawings of former Dreamworks TV animator and current Melbourne-based comic artist and quirky short director Tom Hunter. We love his work because he lets his demons out all over Instagram, with awesome names like "Noon Lord," "Night Lord," and "Bat Axe." His feed is a constant source of brutal imagination, featuring intricate characters so hardcore you can hear the implied blastbeat as soon as you tap. His illustrated characters are begging for epic journeys and a swift death in combat. It's December 26 and Christmas is over, so if you have any leftover elves siphoning off your holiday cheer, these bad boys will scare them off in a hurry.A photo posted by Tom Hunter (@goblintom) on
