Everton Manager Martínez sings "Money Can't Buy You Stones" in the Shower

The things that money just can't buy.

Everton manager Martínez inspired plenty of noise when he rejected John Stones' request for a seemingly imminent transfer to Chelsea at the not-so-bargain price of $46 million. And now, as seen in the video above, via The Guardian, Martínez is adding to the roar by singing the instant classic fan anthem "Money Can't Buy You Stones" in the shower.

Outside the shower area, Martínez recognized Stones, 21, for handling the mandate well.

But it gives you a bigger feeling of control when you can decide what to do with those attempts. John has gone from strength to strength in a period of high pressure and has used it in the right way, taking the support of everyone at the club and has performed with incredible maturity and composure. The way he went away and performed for England in a very natural manner shows the calibre of player we have.

Martínez seems a classy man, saying that the incident didn't cause a rift in his relationship with Chelsea manager José Mourinho, who was reported to have beef with Everton after the deal didn't go through. "Nothing changes," he said. "It is part of the rules. In the transfer window you are allowed to make enquiries and offers for players."

The Special One can take solace in knowing that, even though "Money Can't Buy You Stones" takes some jabs at Chelsea, Martínez's current hair situation ensures that the shower singing doesn't last too long.
