Killing It: The "Selling Your Dirty Laundry on eBay" Edition

DJs are getting beaten up and Chance the Rapper is moving in with James Blake. What is this world we live in.

There's enough gossip going around the world of electronic music that it probably deserves its own TMZ, Gawker, and Perez Hilton. We keep track of the drama, the beef, the LOLs, the dramatic build-ups, and the tragic drops so you don't have to. Now, let's see who killed it this week.

PLAN B

What recession? MK's used towels just sold for 10,000 pounds on eBay. 25 bidders were warring over it, too. DJs: get on this game. It's rough out there.

ALL I WANTED FOR XMAS

Scratcha DVA decided to be the gentleman that he is and give away 50 tracks last week with the label "Junk in the Trunk." 50 fucking tracks, people. That's more than some of you have in your "DJ folder." Take full advantage of this if you still can, although if your chance to download this is over, don't worry. We'll put it on eBay for $15,000.

THE ULTIMATE COLLABORATION: BECOMING ROOMIES

James Blake and Chance the Rapper are about to be roommates. Judging from the fact that this coupling has been in every single online music magazine this week, this is BIG NEWS. How long before James starts writing sad songs about how no one vaccumed the living room?

COACHELLA LINEUP REVEALED

OK the moment we have all been waiting for is finally here: the revealing of the Coachella lineup. This year, Coachella might be going down the tubes because there were no fake lineups going around before the official one got posted. We live in dark times. Oh, and because OutKast is reuniting specifically for this jawn, this little Tumblr might come in handy.

FOUR TET SELLS OUT IN 10 MINUTES

People love Four Tet. Like, really really love him. His All Nighter event at London's O2 Academy sold out in ten minutes….just like it did in 2012. It probably helps that the lineup for the night also includes Joy Orbison, Floating Points, Daphni and the Hessle Audio team.

SHAPE UP OR SHIP OUT

Here's a good one. Do you know who Darius Syrossian is? No? Ok cool we didn't either. Apparently he won best producer in DJ Mag or something. Anyway, the dude was reportedly assaulted by the BPM festival security this weekend after making a female staff member cry. Then he released a "statement" claiming that he was attacked, denied a spot on the guestlist, and got paid too little. Consider this a lesson in how to not climb the DJ social ladder, kids. (All of our obnoxious comments aside, lots of DJs have to deal with the issues he is complaining about, so props to this dude for shedding a bit of light on it.) A TROLL STARTED BEEF BETWEEN WOLFGANG GARTNER AND 3LAU

This week there were some hurtful words expressed about 3LAU during a Reddit AMA with Wolfgang Gartner, making 3LAU feel some type of way and vent on Facebook about how Gartner's career has "undoubtedly peaked." Turns out Gartner's put-down was just the result of a troll getting up to some nasty editing tricks. Major oops all around.
