We Watched Skream Piss In A Bag Yesterday

And other highlights from Revolutions in Sound, a legendary Red Bull party that took place 443 feet in the air.

Not only does Red Bull make a drink that is hallucinogenic in high quantities, but they also sponsored a dude to swan dive from outer space and made a (very dangerous) competition out of people trying to fly into water on strange machines. Pretty damn cool. Yesterday they outdid even themselves by throwing what was easily one of the most epic parties in history ON A FREAKING FERRIS WHEEL! We all literally had to stop what were doing today and gaze in awe as Red Bull once again took over the iconic London Eye and filled each of its 30 pods with Britain's biggest names.

This year, Revolutions in Sound was hosted by BBC's Annie Mac and featured the most influential parties in UK clubland, including many legendary nights both past and present: Danny Rampling's early acid house party Shoom, tastemaking gay disco to-do Horsemeat Disco, infamous garage promoters Twice as Nice and Sidewinder, and Fabio & Grooverider's early '90s rave event Rage (which some regard as the incubator of the entire D&B scene), to name a few. DJs included Skream, Richie Hawtin, Green Velvet, Derrick Carter, Bok Bok, Slimzee, Dusky, Gilles Peterson, and, uh, Lily Allen. Rock on Lily, rock on. For an hour yesterday we were sucked into this Boiler Room in the sky—doing screwfaces to the bass, jamming to all the quality tunes, and laughing our heads off at the antics. Below are 10 memorable moments.

SKREAM PISSED IN A BAG
Skream seemed to be having one hell of a time during his pod-cast (get it?) with his buddies Artwork and Katy B. (We love watching Katy B dance. She is the cutest thing ever.) Olly was was grooving hard, busting out dance moves all over the place, and dropping exclusives plus he had to… "take care of some business." Taking a piss when you're DJing in a normal club is still pretty hard, imagine being stuck on the top of a ferris wheel. Thank god he didn't have to go #2.

JAMIE XX PLAYS AMBIEN
Meanwhile on Channel 6, we found Jamie XX putting the entire ferris wheel to sleep with the groggiest set ever. We swear even the London Eye itself actually began to grind to a halt. I wonder what the guy on the left is dreaming about in attempts to stay awake.

SWAG MAKES THE WHEEL GO 'ROUND
London's DJs and MCs brought out their best retro prints for this affair. We definitely saw a few of those "proper junglist" Moschino all-over print jean suits from 1995 up in there. Shouts out to Fonti from Fonti & Bushkin (Heartless Crew), who brought the fire kitted out like Joker from Batman.

DRUM & BASS MAKES GIRLS GO HAM
The award for most girls (dancing, at least) goes to the Metalheadz drum & bass pod, where Goldie and Jubei were chopping it up. Who says girls don't like it hard?

GARAGE FOR THE WIN!
Twice as Nice won on Channel 10 with DJ Luck mixing "A Little Bit of Luck" into Wookie Sia Remix, "Pulse X," and more garage classics then finishing off with a roundhouse kick of classic drum & bass (including the Fugees "Ready or Not" remix) at +8. Shock out!

I TOLD YOU TO TEXT ME AFTER THE SHOW!
I guess Lily Allen was a little bored of raving IN A POD 443 FEET OFF THE GROUND as she wouldn't stop whipping out her phone to Twitter, Insta, and possibly Shazam the tracks that were being dropped. Get it together Lilly you're on camera! (We also heard the MC say "Lily Allen has a baggy pussy!" on the microphone so, um, that was a shock.)

YO EROL! BOMBER JACKETS WONT SAVE YOU!
Before he took to the eye, Erol Alkan tweeted that he was afraid of heights. Perhaps he thought this fighter pilot bomber jacket would give him some added courage? It looked like it was cold up there; even Richie ditched a tank top for the long-sleeve. And check out Green Velvet's glow-in-the-dark mohawk!

THE OLD TIMERS RAVE HARD
Here's a snap of Chi-house godfather Derrick Carter smiling up a storm while Trevor Fung—an acid house don possibly responsible for Oakenfold's whole career—bangs out Adonis "No Way Back." You never have to stop doing this, not ever.

BONGOS, GILLES, SALSA… OH MY!!!
Gilles Peterson had one of the most rocking pods in the whole rotunda and pretty much showed why he's one of the most respected taste-makers in the game. There was some dude rocking out on the bongos. And Salsa dancers. Too cool daddy-o.

WHO THE…?
Wait a goddamn second… Who invited Moby to the party? Busted!
