The great, lumbering pop-culture beast that is American Idol will be finally put to sleep this year, but the show is rallying one farewell season before that happens. Tomorrow, the 15th and final season will premiere on FOX, and to tease the episode, the show has released a clip of Yeezy himself auditioning, CNN reports."My name is Kanye and I'm from the South Side of Chicago," the rapper tells season 15 judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, and Harry Connick, Jr. "I wanted to do an original. It has one of the judges names in it."Then, as his wife Kim chats up Ryan Seacrest from the sidelines, Kanye launches into an a capella verse of his Late Registration track, "Gold Digger," name-checking Lopez.Watch the clip above and see if 'Ye makes it to Hollywood.
