One night earlier this month, four men made a phone call to a local pizza place in Chicago and placed an order. They didn't want pizza. They intended to rob the delivery guy instead.Boy, I bet they wish they ordered Chinese instead. The delivery guy was actually Napoleon Harris, a 37-year-old former NFL linebacker. He owned the pizza place, Beggars Pizza, and decided to give his crew a night off and deliver the rest of the pizzas himself, according to CBS 2. So instead of a scrawny teenager, the four guys at a vacant house got the meaty 6-foot-3, 250 pound ex-football player.Harris also happens to be a member of the Illinois State Senate so he let his spokesman tell the rest of the story:"They put a chokehold on the senator, but to no avail. They were really trying to choke him to death, and he was just too strong. He out-powered all four of them. As they were all beating on him, one guy just went out of his way and really hit him hard, and Napoleon never moved. He just looked at him like Hulk Hogan, and from that the guys knew that we better get out of here, because we can't get this guy down."Harris then called the police and tailed their car. And then this thing got really interesting.Police found blood in the car. The blood was of a Georgia man who had gone missing and then was found dead. The police arrested three of the men and charged them with the murder. What a crazy story. Way better than anything Harris can share from his seven-year NFL career with the Raiders, Vikings, Chiefs."This wasn't the average 5-foot-9 delivery guy," his spokesman said, probably already working on the next campaign slogan about the crime-fighting, former NFL player and small business owner.[CBS Chicago]
