Confused Beyoncé Fans Think Jay-Z Cheated on Her with Rachael Ray

As you've probably heard, Beyoncé released a new visual album over the weekend called Lemonade, and Beyoncé fans have been in a frenzy about how her thinly veiled allusions to husband Jay-Z's extramarital affairs on the new tracks. Although the rubbernecking public had seen a few possible sparks amongst the smoke, his infidelity was previously just the subject of speculation and rumors. The album premiered as an HBO special (what's next?), leaving the Twitterati wondering if the show would end with a divorce.

The Beyoncé legions, or "Beyhive," quickly went to work to discover who could possibly be the woman who would dare come between Beyonce and Jay Z—known only as "Becky with the good hair" in the song "Sorry" on Lemonade—and they identified a 42-year-old designer named Rachel Roy as a possible target.

For fellow Rachel and unsuspecting celebrity chef Rachael Ray, this has proven to be a big problem. A lot of people are confusing her with Rachel Roy, and as the Daily Dot reports, she's got the hordes at the gates of her Instagram account, plastering her posts with comments full of lemon and bee emojis.

Looking through the comments, that's some pretty controversial steak salad! And some Beyoncé fans weren't just flinging emojis—they even left nasty notes on a photo of Ray's dog. As for the actual Rachel Roy, she's frantically trying to do damage control after maybe, kind of implying in a Saturday night Instagram post of her own that she was the true "Becky."

Ray is not the only well-known chef who has been tied into the Lemonade hype. Ninety-three-year-old Leah Chase, the legendary chef of Creole cuisine at New Orleans' Dooky Chase, made a cameo in the special, seated on an elegant chair backed by drapes that looks a bit like a throne. President Obama has twice visited Chase's restaurant and twice hosted her at the White House. According to one journalist, she even slapped Obama's hand when he attempted to put hot sauce in her gumbo.

That might not sit well with Beyoncé, who recently waxed poetic about carrying hot sauce in her bag. But in another twist, it turns out "hot sauce" for Beyoncé is a baseball bat named Hot Sauce with "Hot Sauce" written on it.

Sometimes, things aren't what they seem to be on first glance. Just steer clear of the swarm of angry bees if you can.
