People have a lot of opinions about what makes good Mexican food. Above the border, everything from queso to "cheesy gordita crunches" to burritos fall into our ever-expanding definition of the cuisine, which is as regional in the States as it is in Mexico itself.

But for West Coasters, there's no doubt that when in San Francisco, one must go to the Mission district and consume Mexican food. It is both a human right and a mandatory decree.

Today is Taco Tuesday. Maybe you can't blow off work and spend hundreds of dollars on a plane ticket and subsequent cab ride that will drop you off on the corner of 16th and Valencia, but you, too, can enjoy the immaculate taste of perfectly prepared Northern California Mexican food.

We've got a recipe for ya right here. It comes from pro skateboarder Tony Trujillo, who sure as hell knows his way around a taco, and it's crazy easy.

Start with some homemade carne asada. Warm up some decent quality corn tortillas; top them with steak, cilantro, onions, and salsa; and boom, you've got these handheld beauties.
