This Pimento Mac 'n' Cheese Will Take Your Cares Away

Tell your diet to GTFO. It's getting cold, America's freaking out, the world is ending, and it's time to get fat on this absolutely delicious mac 'n' cheese.

People talk about "comfort food" in this highly abstract way—namely, one that describes our right to self-medicate with mashed potatoes, fettuccine Alfredo, and other things that we know are probably not ultra super great for our health—but far less often point out the precise reasons why we really need this highly caloric comfort. Right about now, we have some guesses.

Maybe because it feels like half of the world hates the other half, although its unclear which side is more impassioned, and how about that the Great Barrier Reef is dead, you guys? We killed it. We messed up so bad.
