F*ck, That’s Delicious: An Annotated Guide to Eating Well Competition

Terms and conditions.

These are the rules which apply to your participation in our Prize Draw (the "Prize Draw") run via our website, munchies.vice.com and our Munchies Facebook page and Twitter page. By submitting your entry to the Promotor you agree to these rules. If you do not agree, please do not submit your entry.

  • The Promoter for this Prize Draw is Vice UK Limited whose registered office is at New North Place, London EC2A 4JA (the "Promoter" or "we"). This Prize Draw is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Twitter.

  • To enter, entrants must be 18 years of age or older at the date of entry and must be a resident of the United Kingdom.

  • To submit an entry, an entrant must provide their email address.

  • The first prize is 1x meal (including one bottle of Pitt Cue Co. red wine to share) for two persons at Pitt Cue Restaurant, 1 The Avenue, Devonshire Square, London EC2M 4YP and a copy of the book, 'F*ck That's Delicious, An Annotated Guide to Eating Well' (First Prize). In addition there are 3x runner up prizes available consisting of a single copy of the book, 'F*ck That's Delicious, An Annotated Guide to Eating Well'. There are four prizes to be won in total and the successful entrants will be selected by the Promoter at random. The winners of the prizes will be chosen from all correct entries received by the Closing Date, with first prize being awarded to the entrant drawn first by their Promoter.

  • Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families may not enter the Prize Draw; neither may the employees of any third party sponsors, prize providers or their immediate families.

  • The Prize Draw launches on Thursday 20th September 2017 and closes on Saturday 30th September 2017 at 09:00. Any entries received outside of this time period will not be successful.

  • You will require internet access and an email address to enter the Prize Draw.

  • The winners will be informed by email and must accept the prize by no later than Monday 2nd October 2017 at 17:00, after which time another winner will be chosen and notified.

  • In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the authorised email account holder will be deemed to be the entrant. "Authorized account holder" is the natural person in whose name the email account has been issued. If a dispute cannot be resolved, the entry will be deemed ineligible.

  • The Promoter will not be responsible for (and will have no liability in connection with) the following occurrences, to the extent that they occur for reasons beyond the Promoter's reasonable control:

  1. Any postponement or cancellation of the Prize Draw;

  2. Any change to the prizes or the way in which it can be used;

  3. Any problems with the dispatch of the prizes (such as the prizesfailing to reach the intended recipient) or the subsequent enjoyment of the prizes;

  4. Any act or default of any third party supplier including the restaurant.

  • Prizes are is non-exchangeable, non transferable and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

  • Travel costs or any other expenses incurred by the winner of the main Prize will not be covered by the Promoter. All costs and expenses associated with prize(s) acceptance and use not expressly stated herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of the winner(s).

  • Only one entry per person. If more than one entry is received per person, only the first entry received will be eligible. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. Use of a false name will result in disqualification.

  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.

  • The Promoter will not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury (other than our liability for personal injury or death as a result of our negligence) or disappointment of any kind suffered by any entrant in entering the Prize Draw, including as a result of any entrant winning or not winning any Prize.

  • The Prizes are subject to availability and if applicable, any venue's policies and procedures.

  • Each entrant agrees to the use of his/her personal information (including the email address provided by the entrant) being used and stored by the Promoter for the purposes of administering this Prize Draw. The First Prize winner will be asked to provide the name and contact details and these will be shared with the venue. The Promoter shall use and take care of any personal information you supply to it as described in its privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen at https://www.vice.com/en_uk/pag… and in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation.

  • Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winners. If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond or provide an address or is unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to offer a prize to the next eligible entrant.

  • If for any reason the Prize Draw is not capable of running as planned as a result of any (including but not limited to) technical failures, computer virus, mobile network failure, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Prize Draw, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Prize Draw and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the draw or the Prizes due to any circumstances that arise beyond our control.

  • The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
