Activate Your Weed Ice Cream with Cannabis Caramel

And a couple of swirls of terp chocolate for good measure.

In this deleted scene from Bong Appétit, Natalia Pereira, chef-owner of LA's Woodspoon, helps concoct a bowl of ice cream that was both one of the most potent things to ever come out of the Bong App kitchen—and also one of the tastiest.

With a little help from resident cannabis expert Ry Prichard and his trusty kief shaker, Pereira and host Vanessa Lavorato are able to infuse their homemade ice cream with tiny weed crystals. A kief shaker, in case you're wondering, is a canister that looks—and sounds—like a bongo. Weed and dry ice go in one end and superfine weed dust sprinkles out the other, like the powdered sugar of the gods. It's the perfect way to infuse ice cream with not-so-subtle hints of cannabis.

Finally, what's a bowl of ice cream without a little chocolate and caramel? Not much. And what's a Bong Appetit bowl of kief ice cream without cannabis caramel crumble and activated terp chocolate swirls on top? This triple threat of THC should be more than enough to satisfy your appetites for both food and weed.
