You Only Need to Pay $15K to Own a Piece of Trump's Cringeworthy Pizza Hut Ad

Alongside his ex-wife, Donald Trump introduced the stuffed-crust pizza to the world in a TV commercial, and the storyboards are now for sale.

Before he was a wall builder and master tweeter, before he was the 45th president of the United States of America, Donald Trump was taking bit parts in TV commercials to help Pizza Hut sling pies.

But not just any pies. Nay, Trump's 1995 foray into the world of pizza came at the bold moment in history when our proud culinary line declared that there must be more cheese not on, but in pizza.

Alongside his ex-wife Ivana, Trump introduced the stuffed-crust pizza to the world in a TV commercial that's been unofficially dubbed "Pizza Slut."

Amid a flurry of innuendos and divorce jokes, Trump asks "It's wrong isn't it?"

"But it feels so right," Ivana whispers, breathily—eating your pizza backwards that is.

While the premise feels tame in the current milieu of meme-worthy fast-food catastrophes like Cheetos Chicken Fries, and Doritos Locos Tacos, the commercial was a hit. The new pizza, led by Trump, helped pull the company out of a sales slump and raise it up more than $300 million in 1995, Ad Week reports.

Now, if you've ever wanted to get your hands on a piece of memorabilia that resides at the often uncrossed intersection of presidential history and culinary Frankenstein's monster, you can do so. Storyboards from the commercial, autographed by The Donald and Ivana, are now up for sale for the mere price of $15,000.

It's truly a souvenir from a place in time when the fast-food industry basically said, "Eh, fuck it," and our then future president was there to shrug his shoulders and make another deal.
