Prepare to Feast on the Greatest Chicken Sandwich Ever Created

When someone says they had a chicken sandwich for lunch, you might pity the poor fool. After all, the image that auto-populates in your mind's eye is probably of a flattened, flavourless fast-food bun stuffed with a breaded patty of dry and soulless white meat. Maybe a single leaf of limp iceberg lettuce punctuates the whole thing, and a smear of lukewarm mayo. The chicken sandwich is a wonderful concept that is so often terribly executed.

But the light breaks through the clouds when you make this bad boy.

It starts with a shitload of lemony chive-horseradish cream cheese, because we all know that condiments are crucial when it comes to sandwiches. Then, you'll make quick pickled cucumbers, and crisp up your bacon.

Dredge the chicken in Parmesan breadcrumbs, fry it to perfection, and assemble this beauty on a lovely baguette. Then, take your first bite and prepare to involuntarily moan with sinful pleasure at the synthesis of smoky bacon, crispy chicken, tangy pickles, and creamy, spicy spread.

I think it's safe to say that this is our best chicken sandwich yet. And soon to be yours, too.
