Judging from his Twitter account, Lathan Crump is pretty pleased with himself. Last Saturday, after competing in a local Commerce, Texas rodeo, Crump rode Hollywood, his quarter horse, right through the front door of a local Taco Bell.

Now that he's been featured on Fox News and a short video of his grand entrance has blown up, Crump posted, "Hahah we made the big time" on Twitter.

The video clip shows a smiling Crump, adorned in a red-and-white check shirt and a large, brimmed cowboy hat, riding Hollywood right into the fast-food restaurant. Customers laugh and exclaim, while someone says above the chatter, "You're not!"

Well ole Hollywood was a lil hungry after the rodeo so I road him in to grab a bite. @chloe_horn @alexcawthon @cagneyanderson @harris_tyler18 @t_willy21 @harristrent2 @cal_wolfe @cal_wolfe7 @tygreen69 @cashripple @cameronmiller606 A video posted by Lathan Crump (@lathan__crump) on Aug 6, 2016 at 11:24pm PDT

But, yes, he was.

Crump said that he and Hollywood "go almost everywhere together." With a little egging on from his friends, Crump thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to enter Taco Bell on horseback. After all, he said, riding his horse to get a snack is "Kind of an everyday thing for us –it's not a big deal."

I did not know riding a horse in Taco Bell woulda made me so famous hahah @T_willy21 @ropeohlic why didn't mine get that many rt

According to Fox News, local police said they won't take action against Crump, who is a third-generation cowboy from Texas.

Rick Braun wasn't so lucky. He also rode his horse to a local Taco Bell—and he didn't even ride the horse inside the restaurant. He just moseyed up to the drive-thru. Still, Braun was hit with a $266 fine from Texas police in April of last year. In that case, Braun was charged with violating a code that prohibited "anyone to ride or drive an animal on a public sidewalk" or heavily traveled street. You might imagine that riding or driving an animal into a Taco Bell would merit an even worse fine, but that hasn't happened so far to Crump.

Perhaps it's his big cowboy smile. Or the beauty of Hollywood, who is quite the equine looker. In any case, one cowboy in Texas got his taco and got to eat it—on horseback—too.
