Presenting MUNCHIES, a New Food Channel by VICE

We just launched the site this morning. Think of this as our soft restaurant opening. We aim to be a beacon of hope in the sea of spoiled gazpacho that is people writing and being videotaped talking about food.

Dear people who eat,

You may already know MUNCHIES as a food series by VICE. Now, MUNCHIES has been reborn as our new food channel dedicated to showing you the best videos, articles, and experiences the universe of food has to offer. And yes, MUNCHIES will live on as a show about your favorite chefs out on the town.

MUNCHIES aims to be a beacon of hope in the sea of spoiled gazpacho that is people writing and being videotaped talking about food.

We just launched the site this morning. Think of this as our soft restaurant opening. We are still testing the site and really want your feedback. Let us know what you like, what you think is just sort of bland, and what you think should be sent back to the kitchen altogether.

Like the first night of service at shiny new dining establishment, we will be fine-tuning MUNCHIES, adding new features and more content every day. There will be daily recipes, food guides, and adventures into bizarre culinary worlds to explore.

All of our videos will also be available on the MUNCHIES YouTube channel, so please subscribe to follow our latest food programming, and follow our other social media pages, listed below. And stay tuned for stories from Mexico, Russia, Canada, Iran, Germany, India, Thailand, and Brazil, Western Europe, the US, China, and any other place where humans are eating and talking about food.

In the meantime, we will be in beta as we get all the kinks worked out.
